Quiet Thanks

Today I’m grateful for the little things,

The warm light in the morning,

The peace that wasn’t always promised,

The breath that arrives without being asked,

For the way my heart stayed soft,

And for the way God keeps guiding me.

Even on the days I don’t know what to ask for..
